Position Overview: We are seeking a Registered Psychotherapist with expertise in psychotherapy, family counseling, child/kids therapy, and marriage/couples counseling. This role is ideal for a dedicated and skilled professional who thrives in both independent practice and collaborative environments. The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional time management skills, the ability to retain clients through effective therapeutic relationships, and the independence to manage their caseload while contributing to our clinic’s supportive and integrative atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a wide range of mental health and behavioral challenges.
  • Develop customized treatment plans with measurable goals, adapting approaches to meet clients’ evolving needs.
  • Effectively manage time by scheduling sessions, handling caseloads, and adhering to treatment timelines.
  • Build and maintain trust with clients, fostering long-term therapeutic relationships and successful outcomes.
  • Work independently, taking initiative in client care, documentation, and professional development, while actively collaborating with the clinic’s multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Conduct thorough initial assessments, monitor client progress, and adjust treatment plans as necessary to maintain the highest standard of care.
  • Promote mental health awareness and education among clients and within the broader community.
    Adhere to clinic policies and procedures, ensuring a professional, organized, and patient-centered environment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid credentials in Psychotherapy or a related field, with active registration in good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO).
  • Proven experience providing psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and families, with a demonstrated ability to establish and sustain therapeutic relationships.
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • A proven track record of successfully retaining clients and achieving long-term therapeutic engagements.
  • Ability to work independently, managing all aspects of client care with minimal supervision, while also being an active, collaborative member of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to ethical practice, professional development, and maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and client care.
  • Familiarity with clinic policies and procedures, ensuring consistent adherence to operational standards.
